    For active pursuits, our on-site tennis courts are available amidst lush greenery, and we also offer exclusive tennis lessons in the summer. Those looking to cool off will find an idyllic retreat in the private swimming lake right next to the manor house. Golf enthusiasts will also find plenty to enjoy: several of the island’s top-notch courses are just a short drive away and offer ideal conditions for your game.

  • Stay a while.

    Find your favorite spot in a lounge chair and lose yourself in a good book while listening to the gentle rustling of the trees and the humming of the bees. After a day full of adventures, the cozy warmth of your in-house sauna awaits you (at Hasenkate, Blücherkate, and Koppelblick). Barbecue and bocce areas are available for your use, complete with equipment.

  • Would you like to explore the island on horseback or learn to ride during your vacation? We’d be happy to arrange riding lessons, trail rides, or carriage rides for you through our partners, such as the Tegelhof or Hof Viervitz (about 20 minutes away).

  • Experience world-class culture right here on site: Our historic estate chapel regularly hosts performances by the renowned Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival. In addition to these musical highlights, we’ll keep you updated on current exhibitions and events, such as the Störtebeker Festival. Our administrative staff is always happy to assist you in planning your cultural outings and will take care of your ticket reservations.

  • From cozy seafood restaurants at the harbor to fine dining in the seaside resorts—we know all the island’s culinary highlights. We’d be happy to share our personal restaurant recommendations with you and, if you’d like, reserve a table for you.
